Ajanta and Ellora Caves Tourism

Ajanta and Ellora caves, considered to be one of the finest examples of ancient rock-cut caves, are located near Aurangabad in Maharashtra, India. Ajanta and Ellora caves 

    complex is adorned with beautiful sculptures, paintings, and frescoes and include Buddhist monasteries, Hindu and Jain temples.    The Ajanta caves are 29 in number and were built between the 2nd century BC and 6th century AD, whereas the Ellora Caves are more spread out and 34 in number and dates to the period between 6th and 11th Century AD.


        Ajanta and Ellora caves are designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and are quite popular among travelers worldwide. Ajanta Caves, located around 99km north of Aurangabad, are mostly Buddhist sites and were used as a retreat by Buddhist Monks. Ellora is just 15 km west of Aurangabad and has a better mix of Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist sites.

Beutiful Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal, a stunning white marble mausoleum in Agra, India, was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 as a monument to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died after giving birth to their 14th child.    Shah Jahan, deeply in love with Mumtaz Mahal, commissioned the Taj Mahal as a testament to their enduring love and a symbol of eternal beauty.   Mumtaz Mahal, a Persian princess, died in 1631 while giving birth to their 14th child, Gauhara Begum, in Burhanpur.     Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 and took approximately 22 years to complete, with the mausoleum itself finished around 1638-39, and the surrounding buildings and gardens finished in 1643.   Location: The Taj Mahal is located on the south bank of the Yamuna River in Agra, India

  The   Qutb Minar , also spelled   Qutub Minar   and   Qutab Minar , is a   minaret   and victory tower comprising the   Qutb complex , which lies at the site of Delhi's oldest fortified city,   Lal Kot , founded by the   Tomar   Rajputs.   It is a   UNESCO   World Heritage Site   in the   Mehrauli   area of   South Delhi ,   India .   It was mostly built between 1199 and 1220, contains 399 steps, and is one of the most-frequented heritage spots in the city.   After defeating   Prithviraj Chauhan , the last Hindu ruler of Delhi before the Ghurid conquest of the region,   Qutab-ud-din Aibak initiated the construction of the victory tower, but only managed to finish the first level.
